Arriving Soon - Throws by Lapuan Kankurit

Spring is in the air but keep cosy in the evening chill with a lovely soft blanket.  We will be stocking these gorgeous blankets and throws from Friday 10th March. Designed by Marja Rautiainen and woven by Lapuan Kinkurit in Finland these blankets will add an easy Nordic style to your home.  The mill in Finland is still owned and run by the original founding family.  I love these shots captured during the weaving process.

'We are proud of our weaving mill and skilled crafters. The roots of our family business stretch back to the opening of the family's first textile factory in 1917. We know each and every one of our employees personally. The everyday workings of a weaving mill involve various different stages, and every one of them requires a skilled professional.
