Stoneware is a very strong and durable material. This range of stoneware items are manufactured with glaze applied by hand to obtain the special look. Varieties in color may occur such as small spots and unevenness. The charming imperfection is not considered defects. The type of glaze is called “crackle-glaze” and the crackle effect is part of the design and therefore intended. All items can be machine dish washed. Microwave usage is not recommended.
